A big hello and thank you to dirty davo for typing up the kind words.

A few days ago I drove out to see the panel beater who sprayed our HT Monaro back in 2001 and he showed me
my original guard and two doors, they are abit rusty and the glass is missing out of the doors but the flipper
windows are there and they have a different marking on them to the ones in my car now?

Can anyone please fill us in on which one is right for our HT?, the flipper windows on the Monaro at the moment have a fist&hammer
Where my old ones off the HT(from panel shop) have a triangle looking logo, if it helps our Monaro was built in Jan 1970.

When i got home from the panel beaters i looked at the other glass in the car and noticed the Right hand side door window is a triangle while the passenger door is a fist and hammer, same with the rear windows, one triangle, one fist and hammer
My right door looks like it use to be Green while the left door looks like it use to be Blue

Which glass does a HT have?
i,m not sure at all on this one?

Well this year is nearly over and Wendy and i would like to thank everyone for having ago and putting in.

Safe and Happy Xmas to all

Brian and Wendy

Keep your origonal glass if you can. Not necessarily use it, but keep it safe.

I didn't realise those wheel arch trims were worth so much, I've got heaps of them including a set of three NOS HT Monaro ones still in the original wrapping and in mint condition (just missing the LH Rear).
Might have to flog them off ;-)
I bought them a long time ago and was going to get them extended to suit HK GTS but now repro's are available so not worth the cost to do.

hi brian and wendy
i need the chrome around the windows and have a bit of a hard luck story.i bought a hk monaro about 2 years ago.when the missus seen an old ad in the paper i said it would be gone by now but gave the guy a ring anyway.to my suprise he said he still had it and told me it was rust free and wanted 9-10 grand.so we went around and it was just a body with the side windows and nothing else but no rust.so i had to have it as its my dream car so i offered him all i had in the bank 6 grand.he took it to further my supprise when i got it home and checked the tags it turned out to be a warrick yellow gts bonus.anyways i had to leave it at my mates house for a year while i was building my house(just a house with no patio or garage)and shed.well now i built my shed i have been collecting parts from wreckers and other monaro owners up here.i have a new mate dave that gives me parts for my monaro and helps me out.i have swapped a hg gts bonnet that was on the car for a back seat as they are rare as hens teeth got 2 prem front seats from the wreckers up in ingham $300 front and back windows with chrome kennys wreckers $200 hood lining bows from mate dave a carton + he has given me dash and surronds radio and glove box lid and grills ect another monaro bloke gave me the chrome on the bottom of front seats wheel arch moulds for hg-t exhaust.bought the drip rail trim off dave bellarine wreckers $400 that was when you could not get repro ones and people told me they were the rarest item for the monaro.but cannot afford to buy chrome trim at those prices.dave knows me as he sent me the chrome and they got all bent up in the mail and i had to send them back.i live up in townsville which is the hardest part as its so far from any where for swap meets and parts.also looking for a steering colum for floor shift.can send you photos of car and house if you like.it is a 5-10 year project because of the prices and rarety i wish they were still around the 10 grand mark for a good going one the prices are mad and most dont even drive them and keep them for investments what a joke makes them unaffordable for all us average joes
thanks anyways and if you would like to do a deal
my phone number is 0420277011
thanks again luke
