Same but different. I know of an HK 81837 Bright Blue on Black for sale in Adelaide. Not advertised. Genuine 44,000 miles. Books, all matching numbers. Unmolested, still had original spark plugs and clutch plate etc. Still has original brake shoes on the rear. Absolutely would not find a more unmolested HK 327 car. In fact it is cars like this that need to survive and be kept in its current condition so people can restore theirs accurately. Thats how good it is. I spent several days underneath it while it was on a hoist, taking photos and referencing everything. Driveable, with scrapes and bumps. The only mods, obviously done very early in its life, are a rear sway bar and bonnet pins. Even has a left hand exterior mirror in the correct place which I thought was interesting considering coupes weren't supposed to have them. It was delivered in mid September 68 and has a type 1 engine. Far more valuable than any restored one in my opinion. Asking around $155k. Worth a lot more I think but everything is down at the moment. Invaluable historically. |

I have one with matching numbers. Bright Blue metallic but it has an Opel and the blue interior. Very straight & original.
Let me know if you would be interested.
