Yes, but which HZ Statesman? There are 3 x grilles abd 2 x bottom grilles. The Deville and SL/E top grilels bolt on but from memory require you to remove the nut clips off the nosecone first. HZ Caprice will bolt on but you'll have to drill holes in the nosecone. Bottom Deville and Caprice bolt on, SL/E are multi-piece and a bit harder.
I wouldn't remove the HJ Prem grille though, they are probably the nicest of all the grilles on a twin headlight front. Put a HJ GTS badge on it and it transforms the grille especially on a dark colour.

A GTS badge on a premier and make it look like a wannabe I wouldn`t. the premier grille badge looks good.
I have a HJ caprice set up on my van upper and lower and looks good.

Byron,True enough,I think front end combo's are very interesting.
I remember a fair while ago now seeing a HQ monaro with a statesman(WB)
caprice front complete and ford fairlane (LTD) kind of tail lights in the
rear bumper,it was a maroon colour ,,not really the type of thing done today I suppose
but to be honest I thought it looked f@#$king stunning and still do.just a matter
of taste really. The purist wouldn't like it ,but there were none back then and
it was and still is one of the best looking cars I've seen.

My monaro has a hz statesman front and grille with a wb statesman number plate surround fixed to the hz front bar,the top of the grille has quite a big gap to the sheet metal and i had to put a T rubber strip, and it looks good,i think the caprice had a extra moulding that went into that gap,i fitted in the back bar the ford ltd tail lights(rolls royce type front 1977-79)but i used a hq station wagon bar.most people cant pick that there not a holden tail light as they fit and look the part.

If cars like HOT SHT were available brand new now with GenIII, I am sure no-one would complain.

I think the WB rear suits the coupe shape nicely in those pics. (puts flamesuit on & waits for the purists).

Anybody remember the HQ Coupe with the WB roof grafter on, and the bowtie shaped rear glass - he used to get to Bargo swap in the late 90s??
Cheers,

Mick

It does look good, although closeup it might be a bit funny around the rear tail-light and the bar appears to be the wrong shape, maybe a HQ wagon bar with the WB rubbers might have fitted better? Very well executed though.. They look OK with HJ-HZ sedan lights as well.
