I have a 1964 as a toy
We have a 1975 as a family bus
A 1970 as a daily driver

Average age is 41 year old cars registered in our garage.

As for ACC position on the IGNITION key, forget it. Our vehicles don't have accessories.

HQ monaro-74
HQ ambulance- 72
HQ tonner- 74
HQ sedan- 71
HQ couch- 71
HX tonner- 77

only 1 registered is the HQ monaro
so i guess i'm at 74 for average age, lol

the HQ tonner is nearly ready for rego but that won't effect my average either

the HX tonner is a parts car/donor car so it'll never be a ute again, the rest are project cars so that leaves me with ALL HQ's

so that make my average car a HQ, lol

Registered privately in my name - 1987, 1996, 2006..... so the average is around 14 years.
The '81 VH race car would bring the average up, but it's never gunna see rego again!
Cheers,

Mick

This got me thinking about my father-in-law's garage. He's got 3 Chevs - 1915, 1928 & 1934 - he's had the 34 since before my wife was born.
There's also a 1924 Indian Scout, but he's got 2 "modern" daily drives to destroy the average, a VSII stato & WK Caprice.

Comes in at a total of 365 years over 6 vehicles = average age of 60.83 years.
Cheers,

Mick

I noticed everyone who replied to this thread listed what they currently 'have'. Then James listed what he has 'had'.

Did you misinterpret the thread James?
