What is the difference??
I have a couple of sets, but have no idea what the difference is.

gday fellas i hope your correct hktg parts recovery it will save me the head aches.but i put a post on the tech section and byron recons warren has told him the same.that they are different.there also is a fella on ebay selling hk and ht g sets and they seem to differ in bends as far as i can tell the hk sets seem to have more prominent bends but i may be wrong.maybe check yours edelbrock1 and let me know what you come up with. it will be much appreciated thankyou |

I'm pretty sure Ben told me they were different too. If there is I will happily swap you HT ones for some HK ones. I have a whole crossmember, shifter and Saginaw I pulled from a HG 253 4spd Kingswood many years ago. All are still attached together. |

gday byron i think your right .the hk ones have a double adjuster nut on the gear box end on 2 of the linkage rods and the ht g ones have a single nut fixed to the trunions .meaning to adjust the ht g ones you have to take the rod off the gear box spin the trunions to get the right adjustment looks like a holden cost cutting measure.as far as bends and lenght i dont really know Edited by user Saturday, 5 March 2011 5:42:40 AM(UTC)

See my other post under technical. Note that the above information is not quite correct - the trunnions are the same for HK and HT, and are not threaded. They are held in position on the shift rod with two jam nuts. They are actually a standard Corvette/Camaro/Chevelle etc part from the US. (3895244)
