buenos notchus senores,
greetings from far flung qld,
jest wondering about an oil change for the t400?
was told today they can change oil without taking pan off??
some type of ubeaut machine,
now,,the auto is a little clunky changing gears via tbar, but good while driving, and not slipping at all,
q, should i get a full service and take pan off, or, does my description allow for a oil change only?
your thoughts/advice appreciated mucho grande!

The u-beaut machine really is. It is a gearbox power flush thingy, makes sure all old oil is sucked out and fresh oil put in. Should be sufficient if it isn't slipping.

What the ubeaut machine won't do is remove the bits of metal & clutch material etc. from the bottom of the pan & it won't change the filter.

If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0

I've used the powerflush machine on two cars where I changed the fluid from Dexron to Maxlife Synthetic. Newcastle Mazda did the work for me. They changed the gasket and cleaned the pan at the same time.

we used the machine at our work on 60 odd cabs we used to flush em, then drop the pan and change the filter, a flush is good as it gets the crap out of the converotr ass well, but it allso needs a filter change.

easy as pie, the worst part is catching the fluid without it pissing all over the ground and you lol.

Nothing to adjust or tweak, just loosen the pan bolts progressivly so one corner drops further than the others, catch the smelly stuff as best you can, and remember that when it stops "leaking", the pan is still full of fluid.

leave 2 bolts on the pan at the front till last and lever the pan down and all the oil will come out the back
Old holdens brought on the spot, quick decision, cash paid.
