Hi all,
I am currently in year 12 and undertaking the reserach project for my South Australian Certificate of education.The topic I have chosen to do is the history of the holden monaro and influence on Australian Motorsport. I was wondering if I could get some opinions of the members on how they think the car has influenced Australian motorpsort typically the V8 supercars or any sites or magazine that may help me in my research. google monaro and monaro racing cars , V8 super cars is a different kettle of fish to the days of the old monaros at Bathurst etc. All Holden fans watched the mighty V8`s in the late 60`s having the 327 cars battle with the V8 Fords So in a sense of Holden vs ford still continues to this day but stating the Monaro`s as a big factor would diminish once the Torana`s took over in the early 70`s.
