Anyone have an oil pickup for a 307 in HK that they are willing to part with? Would consider buying sump as well if you want to sell them both.

get a copy of just parts as i got a sump plus pickup good price i will look tomorrow for contact no for you as he was selling other chev/hk sumps pickups etc |

Give this number a go it was in the previos just parts but not the latest edition, i got my 327 sump, pickup and bolt off him and he sent cod and was sent well wrapped up and in next to new cond
03 54822475 he resides in echuca vic

Thanks Nessy, he doesn't have any pickups left, but referred me to High Energy Sumps in Vic. I've sent 'em an email and await their response.

no worries mate i will keep an eye out for ya, you could also try bellarine classics ask for dave. let me know if you know anyone after some ram horns for hk original gm ones i now have a spare set for sale in really good nik with all new studs.

I'm sure that Dave paws over this section of the Forum every 5 minutes or so. He hasn't chimed in, so I guess he doesn't have one. Had a reply from High Energy today. They can make one for $140 plus freight with about 2 to 3 weeks delivery.
I picked up some 5/8 copper pipe today, might have a shot at making one. If I stuff it up, I'll go back to High Energy.
Sorry, don't know of anyone in need of Rams Horns at the moment.

THANKS FOR TH PLUG AMunro327 OMFG !! $140 for a repro!!!! hadfield had repro ones last year for $95 prittey easy to lengthen a HQ one, (at least its a propper strainer) i have 7 sumps, but only 2 pickups. genuine is always worth more than repro (from me anyway) im happy to sell one o mine for $175 most people are assuming they only worth like 30bux regards DD www.bellarineclassicautos.com.au

Hi DD. Think I'll stick to plan A and have a go at making one this weekend. Not sure if I really need a genuine, I doubt that even the fussiest judge could pick that it's a home made repro in there.

yes that correct. ya should make a batch of em while ya at it. i specialise in catering for those who want genuine part for concourse cars or originality. nufn wrong with a lot of remade parts out there,just that a lot of repro stuff gives th good remade stuff a baad name. if ya just building a driver or hottie, then forget about genuine parts, as a hi energy sump n pickup will do th job easily an prob cheaper!! gives ya sum change for another tank o juice ta do more skids with

Yep, thanks. They're starting to come out of the woodwork now. There's two on the bay that I'm on to. Didn't quite finish my home made version, but will also continue playing 'round with that option.
