this actually made the nightly news broadcast too.

all must be good in the world if this pressing issue needs 2 minutes out of the 20 allocated.

yeah it's a shame, people see a nice HQ for sale for (insert price here) and think there rusty POS must be worth ATLEAST half that!!!

problem is these people have NO idea what it takes to restore a car!

the last 2 HQ's iv'e brought were both $300 and i drove both them home, but they were VERY rusty, 1 was beyond repair but was good for parts (original 253 4 speed manual) the other is stored at a mates place (hello andy if you read this) i've no plans for this car as yet (sorry kevin but i'm just not sure what to do with you)

It doesn't have the original engine, diff, gearbox or paint colour and it is at that price? Way beyond my reach.

This is the sort of crap that makes the general public think their POS is worth more than it is. Cretins like this are making a run of the mill early Holden one of the most expensive cars in the world to retore.

Got me stuffed too, you would need to spend plenty to bring it back to what it should look like and wait a long time to get your money back.

He also say's it is a 1969 model, very early sequence number on the tag?
