Cheers for that Dean, But if only i still had that car.... Gave it away some years ago when monaros were cheap. Still have the front buckets in next to new condition, but them and one of the boot trims is all i have of it.
Threw away a HT 350 (have the seatbelts, tramp rods and badges)as well as giving away a HG308 also....

Sigh...

So i'm not giving away my HG Brougham... its rarer

The stuff I have is probably all too modern for this thread!

A couple of items are quite rare though:
- VC 50th anniversary coin mounted in the wooden plinth, as well as the same coin in the vynil pouch.
- VB accessory parcel tray that goes under the glovebox, in the passenger footwell. New in box with fitting instructions.
- VB accessory driving lights + switch + relay harness - all new in boxes with fitting instructions.
- VB-VH intermittent wiper accessory - all new in box with fitting instructions.
- 1998 50th anniversary (1948-1998) bar mirror - serial # 0001

That's all I can think of, off the top of my head.
Cheers,

Mick

I have a 50th anniversary mirror as well with the 48/215 on the front and the 50th pin set depicting the grille badges,50th lapel pin and 50th jacket which was worn twice only. I have a Holden fountain pen with 3 ink pots in a heavy chrome case,a set of 40th coasters from Elizabeth assembly plant and a metal stamped lion with a card reading Holden Hardware 1959-1988 I got these when I was working there years ago.
I have a lot of collectable bits including my old FOX Marlboro HDT jacket that I bought in 1983 and only wore it a couple of times (got it a size too small) so its still like new.

I also have a complete HT Salesmans kit, 7 different coloured HK Premier 1/24 scale plastic promos and one HK Monaro, LC Torana commemorative release paperweight in the box, HK Holden board game, GTR-X Engineering Report, Original holden tooling brass embossing block for the 'Monaro' on HT GTS Doortrims, original 1967 negatives (microfishe?) of the HK Coupe body shell, HK Holden press release kit.

Is this the same shield as yours?

(Role the sections around some 100mm or larger poly tube to keep the creases from becoming permanent)

Ah yes, I had a nos HT/G km/h speedo but I put it in my daily driver. Makes it easier with all the ridiculous speed limits these days. I have a HX 50th paperweight & key pouch too. Forgot about that one. Some people of got some nice rare stuff on here. Its been interesting reading.

I have a few bits and pieces but the one that sprang to mind was my unfitted HQ SS rear spoiler.
I cannot see too many of them being made at all.
Its a pity its so ugly though.

Cheers Paul.

my father in law bought a HKGTS new warwick yellow 327 but rare auto coz he too short to reach the pedals drove it home and forgot about it,didnt like it coz he couldnt put the wooden grape boxes in the back seat easy enough, gave it to his daughter, i married her,she got fat we couldnt get in and out of the car, parked it, car is still same. then he went out and bought a GTHO, got a lift home in it and thought he was in a cab, didnt like it so parked that, forgot about it and tended to his tomato's for the next 35yrs. gave that to me.
