my son has a vn commodore v8 how do we turn the immobiliser off he can not start his car or where do we find it please he has broken the knob on his steering wheel can someone help us please

VNs don't have a factory immobiliser, unless it's a Calais, and then it's part of the alarm system, and it has an over-ride key in the glovebox.

More likely to be an aftermarket one, which would be impossible to diagnose over a forum due to the variables with age, make, model & who fitted it.
