Hey guys I was wondering if anyone can help me with a problem of mine? I have a vr Calais stage 2 shift kitted box and generally all round nice car but I blew the motor I have a vs ecotec I can get the motor and wiring loom out of but I need to know if the vr gearbox will bolt onto the ecotec motor

The VR auto will bolt up, but will not run off the VS computer (they are different internally & electrically in a few key areas).

If you have the VS available, get the loom, PCM, motor & auto as a complete package & use that.
Not a perfectly straight swap, as a few wires need rerouting in the body loom, but it's not hard to get it going - the average auto sparky will only need a couple of hours.

Thanks a lot mate, I'll be getting the complete bs so what ever I need I will have. Just have to go to auto electrics and see how much they want to do the wiring for me
