Hi. I'm hoping to get some advice from people before I decide what to do about picking up an EH. I love the EHs... always have. Already got one sitting away in a shed ( project ). But I'd like another one to drive. The problem is, I have no garage or carport to put it in. :(

I'm currently renting in Melbourne. My complex does have off street parking, but it's still out in the open. So I want to get founded opinions on keeping a classic like an EH outside. If I were to do this, I'd probably order a StormForce cover ( http://www.coveryourcar.co.uk/stormforce.htm ). So far I can't find anyone who has anything bad to say about them, but I'm familiar with the general consensus towards covers.

So, has anyone had experience covering a classic with a comparable quality outdoor car cover for long periods of time? I'd be following recommendations ( covering a clean dry car, taking it off to breath every couple of weeks - which I would anyway to drive ).

I must add, I've got a bike which has been covered (cheap cover) for the last couple of years. The cover fits like a glove, so it doesn't really budge even in a breeze. So far there's no marks I can see on the bike. I assume this premise carries on to a custom made car cover?

Thanks for the comments Jvanner. Nice to hear the old girls can be kept outside for some time when properly cared for!

As for that StormForce cover, seems coveryourcar.co.uk lied... They don't tailor a covers for cars I've been told. There's a couple of Aussie ones which might suit though.
