My power steering has completely gone, i think it is the fact that the drive drive belt does not seem to be doing the job it is suppose to, in other words it isn't moving and on further inspection all the Drive belts arn't spinning. Im no mechanic and i do like to try and fix these things first. Could it just be a computer error? VS 5lt.

Thanks and any words of advice would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like the harmonic balancer rubber may have disintegrated, allowing the centre to spin freely in the pulleys.

Cheers,
