I agree this is ridiculous. When it gets too tricky just delete the thread. No wonder people bag Rare Spares. How hard is it to answer the question (unless of course there is something to hide???)?

the topics have only been temporarily removed to get cleaned up, they have been thread hijacked way to many times and the same topics are being posted accross 4 active threads.

in short we have got the 5 litre badges, they are new, they are from totally different tooling to what we used to sell 2 years ago, they have been for sale from us for about 6 months.

i will reply to your email tommorow in depth with a proper reply as i dont have all the information at hand now from home

where abouts are you from bullitljv8? if your local to us in melbourne id invite you around to have a look at them

edit: i never removed your threads asking about your deleted threads, i dont know who removed them, im not trying to censor anything i just needed time to be able to clean up alot of the off topic crap that doesnt belong in the rare spares sponsored section of the forum

Possibly brake and clutch pedal bushes?
If so, is it a possibility that with years of use the bushes were flogged out to such an extent that either or both the pedal "eye" and/or shaft now have wear in them as well?
I have seen both occurences over the years and both could also contribute to the perception the replacement bushes are at fault.
At the risk of further critisism if you want to give me a call on 03 9305 4000 I will try to sort this issue out for you.
Cheers

From your name I assume your vehicle is HK or HT?
Could you please confirm so I can check into this further?
Thanks

Hi 69 Rust Bucket

For some reason your previous posts seem to have been lost or perhaps withdrawn, however, for whatever reason, aside from the "quote" included in Dirty Davo's post they no longer appear on the forum.

Anyway, while I was waiting for your response to my last post and acting on the assumption that your vehicle was a HK or HT, I took the opportunity to check our stock with a very interesting result.
The bush's you (and Dirty Davo) targeted as "mass produced crap", "rubbish" etc are actually genuine GMH items we purchased some time ago as part of a bulk buy from GMH direct and as such are the replacement equivalent of the bushes retrieved from your donor car.

For your interest photos taken this morning of some of our remaining stock are attached below.

While this does not help solve the problem with your car it does at least support the authenticity of the parts.

If you wish to discuss the matter further please don't hesitate to contact me.

Cheers
Dave Ryan

Hmmm, they dont look like the ones i pulled out of a Rares blister pack the other day when I had to do a pedal box. They were more of a solid white.

First up, these are the ones I pulled out of stock this morning however it is perhaps possible different batches were different colours. Perhaps what you were supplied may have been from an earlier batch that had been sitting at your local Rare Spares store for a while. I am not saying that is the case but it is possible.
In any case how did they fit?
Secondly, as far as the part number being a US GM part number I cannot say, although it does look like one but it is also the part number listed in the HK, HT and HG parts books. Feel free to look it up as I did this morning.
Quite clearly the packaging is marked as the product being supplied ex Holden.
Regardless if 69 rust bucket would care to contact me, or any-one else with a problem or concerns regarding our products I am more than happy to try to resolve the issue.
Cheers
Dave Ryan
