It talks about that too. Remember this was a CIVIL case, not CRIMINAL. So only related to false or incorrect advertising of an item, not fraud. |

It all comes down to the simple fact that some people are not honest. It is only now with current advanced technology that more and more dodgy cars are going to be uncovered in cases like this. I liked the headline "Seller Beware". If you tell the truth you have nothing to fear. There is just something about those GTs.

yeah at least they got the name right FRAUD just think there is double the amount of gt's on the road now than left the factory lol and why anyone would pay a 6 digit sum for a TAXI...well the mind boggles....

i would have thought that as soon as you have rebuilt or repaired a car it is no longer original, so a new set of tyres or a new grille or rings and bearings , no longer original. how many original cars would there be?

I have an SLR torana which has a police chassis number. I bought it ages ago and I dont have the sellers details any more. How would I know whats gone on before me. I dont even know why it has a VP number, but it has the right colour under the paint. All I could say would be it 'appears to be a genuine SLR, but has a VP number'. So.... Who knows. Or cares. I didnt pay heaps for it and once restored itll be a great toy.

had a friend that bought a bf gt-p not long after the first service and went rattle and stoped, new engine under warranty. dealer was told not to open the engine???? so does this make the car no longer GENUINE item???? lol love to hear everyone,s thoughts. what you reckon frank still a genuine item?
