Anyone found the REVS scheme worthwhile when buying a used car?
Qld transport runs what they call a V check, but it's only good fro vehicles made after 1989 (ish)
Since the car I'm looking at is a 1970, and imported into Aus 3-4 years ago and I'm told never registered here, I wonder if it's worth it.

Won't hurt, and it is free. Just do it online. Enter the Chassis number and rego number. This doesn't protect you from repossession (you need a REVS certificate for this which costs) but it tells you the same info. |
