M37058 is a very early HQ parts manual. Although it is un-dated, I believe it was printed several months prior to the HQ release date. They have no photos (i.e. blank pages) of many pertinent parts of the car.

A mate of mine was working a Stack & Co. (a major Sydney dealer) at the time & he received his copy a week or so prior to release. I was lucky enough to get a look, but it had no clues of what the upcoming car looked like.

If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0

the later 'green cover'HQ statesman & holden parts book (effective may '77 M37928) is the better one to get as it is 830pages.

it supersedes M37865 which was approx 606pages (& i think orangey red cover)

first one 'yellow cover' M37058 was only 504pages

i have one of each which im keeping for reference

my orangy red cover one is missing first 30 pages & last 4 or 5 pages if anyone can help out with coppies

regards DD

Davo, I should be able to copy those pages up for you. Just give me a while.
