Don't know how to upload photos but please see link for picture of a HT premier I am wrecking. http://oldholden.com/node/96186#new
Has anyone seen the strips that are on the door of the premier? They are on the guards/doors/rear quarter on each side (8 in total). They have mounting clips similar to the trim and appear to have been fitted from factory - the body deadner sprayed on the inside rear quarters covers the nuts/wire. Would they have bee fitted from factory? Cheers. |

I know this is getting pedantic but they were not an option, they were available as a genuine dealer-fitted accessory. A small but important difference. These, along with things like mudflaps, parcel shelves & venetians etc. were never fitted at the factory, so weren't an 'option'.
To me there are 4 types of 'extras'.
1. Factory fitted options (these will have a PO number) 2. Dealer-fitted genuine accessories (these will have a genuine part no.) 3. Dealer-fitted non-genuine (aftermarket) accessories 4. Accessories made & fitted aftermarket
Some items, such as genuine radios & heaters can come from group 1 or 2.
Comments are welcome, not trying to start an argument, just clarifying a point.

I cant believe you are wrecking a whole car like that just to get body cuts when you could of contacted Dave or myself and we could of cut the required cuts from our many wrecks. Real shame. |

I can't afford to pay hundreds of $ for whole cuts (ie parcel tray what $500?? etc) and then freight. If you are interested in the car make an offer, but hurry? |

In all honesty I agree it is a shame to wreck the car, but the time, money and effort to restore it would make it one very expensive premier. If it hadn't been left to sit outside for the past 5 odd years maybe it wouldn't be so bad. Maybe someone can use the parts to bring their car back to it's former glory. |

Dave a Holden wrecker in QLD wanted $700 for the parcel tray plus freight. Add wheel well, boot floor, plenum, beaver etc and it gets expensive. I won't get all those parts from the HT but yes the parcel tray will come from this car. |
