Sweet victory... yes.

But it really doesn't matter which car wins because they are all Falcodores, same same except for the engine and the badge on the grille.

Does that make them the pinnacle of "badge engineering", lol.

The engine in the "Holden" isn't even a Holden or Commodore engine! Still better than the 2013 sillouette cars will be.

I watched Bathurst, it was awesome. I watched it on youtube. Brocky showed them how to drive in the rain in 1987. Stuffed if I can stand watching the new version they have these days. They used to actually have to contend with slower cars, tilt tray trucks on the track, cars smashed up in bad spots on the track, people could enter as privateers and were competitive. Its just so bloody boring now.

ATM the series is way too close to NASCAR, and way too far away from a production based series. That said, I was there for the whole 10 days and had one of the best times I've had there- this was my 18th time.
Great race and I xxxxed my self when FPR threw it all away. AGAIN. Rubbish result for DJR and SBR too.

Delighted that frod were kept off the podium. Once agsin the Lion makes henry his beatch!

OR something based on it. Like the old Group C cars. Next time you see an original car from that era, have close look ans see how close to a production car they were. Race cars with ashtrays, lighters, and clocks. There are more highly modded cars registered & on the road these days than a Group C race car.

I'm not looking forward to the 2013 Car of the future crap.
But I'll still go to Bathurst- just for the catch up with the gang.

Even a standard VE SV V6 & XR6 would be better to see racing than this trash we have now. At least we could have a good old arguments like we did back in the days of real cars racing. i use to love giving it to the opposition and seeing them get all wound up ha! they were bloody good times. no PC wimps but real men with a healthy robust attitude.
One class 6 cly and a V8 class and a HSV & FPV class would be good.
