They had the 2L option, as well as the regular 3L.
They were assembled in Oz, and exported across the ditch.

I'd be very interested if you could email me a scanned copy or photo of the broadcast sheet: commodorenut (at) gmail (dot) com
Cheers,

Mick

Some 2 litre 6 cyl cars were also sold here, I was working at GMH near the end of the VL run and we had a cancelled export order, all cars I think maybe 100 or so had to have the fuel tanks changed as the filler neck was for leaded size fuel nozzles, these had to be swapped to be sold here for unleaded use.

Thanks for the email Mark.

Are you on the north or south island?
I have a mate near Nelson who you'd get along very well with - he's a VL fanatic.
Cheers,

Mick

I'll forward your email address onto him, and you guys can make contact that way.
He recently moved house, and had internet dramas, so I'm not sure how soon he'll be back online.
He's actually a bit further up than Nelson - Motueka (spelling?) but it's only a small place - so he's always described it as near Nelson for those who don't know it. But I guess you're close enough!
Cheers,

Mick
