How hard is it to fit a 6cyl red to a lc 4cyl torana?????

Depends where you are trying to fit it I suppose. My brother managed to fit a Suzuki PE 250 in the back of a LX Sunbird once.

Had a mate in the late 1960's who put a 179 into a HB, scary ride that one.

Hi John, maybe I should have been more explicit, is it just a straight swap or are there body mods to be made?? I read somewhere that the early models, say HB, that it was not possible without major or body mods. AL

I'm guessing major body mods. Didnt the 4 cyl have a different wheel base from the 6's? From memory they had: Different front suspension. Different rear axle. Different gear boxes too. 12" 4 stud wheels rather than 13" 5 stud.
