I have a HQ GTS dash fascia with Silver Fish Scale under a black paint that A previous owner had painted.
The black paint is flakeing off the dash fascia, It`s makes it looks a bit s***y.
I would like to remover the black paint to take the dash back to the Silver Fish Scale.
Any one know what would best be used as a paint remover without stuffing up the dash fascia ?
If I agreed with you we`d both be wrong.

If it's flaking badly already most of the paint is probably ready to come off. I'd have a bit of a try with some prepsol and a bit of elbow grease first up. Might be enough and won't do any damage.

Have you tried caustic soda? I use it to strip chrome & paint from plastic models. Works a treat and doesn't harm the plastic.
I'd test it in an inconspicious area first though.
