I picked up a VH electronic ignition to put on the HQ about 6 months ago. Finally getting around to fitting it. Anyhow, I have had it sitting in a bucket, along with an oil pressure sender I pulled out ages ago. Now there is oil in the bucket. Not a huge amount, but enough that I'm wondering if it didn't all come from the oil sender.

Coils contain oil, right? Can it leak if the coil isn't stored upright? What if it does?

It doesn't *appear* to have leaked when I take a bit of a look at it, but I'm not 100% sure.

Cheers,
Jason.

I ran one in the upside down Position to stop crud and dirt from entering the Breather holes (or what ever there purpose?) For ages. Never hade a problem with it.

And I would think the coil would loose performance damn fast if it was oil leaking from i
