I have codes A, 8 and 6.
These are for the rear end emblem ie trimatic, V8 or 186/186S badge.
As a Premier did not have the engine badge on the bootlid you only have A.
A V8 auto Kingswood would have 8 A

Greetings, HKs are a very different breed. HK Brougham is presented as optioned Premier and has all the extra bits listed as a result C27/L30/M35/N40/TP1/T47. HT-G do not as the 81469 model comes with them standard but with L31 in place of L30. HG also has M40 in place of M35. 155 in HK is 154 in HT-G. |

Greetings, In addition, all Belmont/Kingswood/Premier/Brougham in base form has two dashes in this box as no drilling was needed on the lid. When an engine or gearbox was optioned then it was noted. GTS 350 is only GTS model with two dashes. |

I only have two HK sheets, a base model Brougham, delete vinyl roof, and a HK GTS 185S 4 speed.
Interestingly the GTS sheet has G95, L66, J52, M11, M20 all standard. Maybe HK sheets list all standard "options".

Thanks Warren Its the obvious things that you would not think of If memory serves me well all Belmont and Kingswood Sedans Monaro coupe have the hole already punched for the boot light socket and also the hole for the screw that holds the boot light bracket for NASCO add on sales or dealer fitment

Box 62 Fuse Panel HG is marked as FC on the Production Broadcast Sheet
I have seen FB , FF as well as FB
They are on the decal on the swing down fuse panel and was interested to know what these marking indicate or are they just Model type related Torana ,Bedford ? or is this the type of fuse panel layout in regards to how many slots have terminals to take a fuse Thanks

Greetings, That's very interesting indeed. I only have V8 car sheets and they all have the same type of information as you say a 6 does. Looks like anything over the base build is listed regardless of the vehicle type? GTS 327 I can understand as it has L34 listed which was unique to the model. HT/G are more logical by the sound of this. |

When I found out about these sheets I have been intrigued. I have owned and stripped several KTG models and have never seen a sheet. When we bought a VE Calais I asked for the sheet and it was put in the owners manual folder. I have access to a HG Kingswood at the moment which is very original and has some factory options (Discs, non fan heater, buckets and console are the main ones).
Where under the dash did they put them? Any where else easy to look without pulling the car to bits?
Colin.

Greetings, These sheets can be anywhere in the cars. Most times they are in tatters due to water leaking in though.

Hi Colin, I don't think they were supposed to be left in the vehicle so not all are expected to have them. It's usually a lucky find based the laziness of the production worker. My friend has a 1970 Elizabeth built HG Premier and he found his sheet under the bonnet insulation when it was removed. I have removed two from wrecks I have in my possession that are just over a week apart from each other in the Elizabeth plant. One sheet was stuck to the lower column and the other under the rear floor covering. |

The front end on these is coded with springs and brakes. I have not got the sheet that has this code yet, only have a couple of HK sheets. It would be listed in box 104 and would have a two letter code.
Boxes 47 and 48 are used for booster type and master cylinder.
H9ow many built, probably several hundred, as disc were still new and drums considered quite adequate by many, plus all air cond V8s from January to about June would have to have drums.
