Hi Guys.
That particular manual is not an original Holden publication, but it is the next best thing.
Stan. H. Earle to my knowledge was one of Holden's printing contractors, so had access to GM-H copyright of the original manuals. So they put this together, when the originals became no longer available.
The HK/T/G manual pictured is simply the original manual put together into one book. It hasn't got a Holden part number, but with the original manuals out print for decades, this book is a great substitute. I'm not sure if it includes the HK Monaro & Brougham supplements & also the body supplement, can anyone tell me if it does ?

If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0 |

Dr Terry.
Greetings Dr Terry, Absolutely does. In fact, the picture that is duplicated above is just a page turn ahead of the actual page that lists the kerb weights of every HK model. The Stan H Earle book is the box set of every HK-T-G shop manual. The picture showing the weights is in fact from the HG section of the book. The HT vehicle weights are also in it making every model and every vehicle covered along with the options. |
look out, the guru is coming through... |

Just for the record, yes the HK-HT-HG Series Workshop manual (AKA the Green Book) does in fact include Kerb Weights for the HK range, including the various options. Dave pointed this out to me in a telephone conversation last night. My bad, as the younger generation would say.
However, this detail is not in the mainstream HK section of the manual, it's tucked away in the Brougham and Coupe Supplement. Guess I didn't think to look there for details on a ute.
