I don't have the room or money for a hoist, but I need a good way to lift a car. At the moment I use those steel car ramps (then chock the wheels so it doesn't roll off) but it doesn't lift it high enough. Any substitutions you guys could share with me? Appreciate it. |

A guy I know has a set of those big arse ramps that you often see in car yards. The ones that you drive up on and then the rock forward so the car sits flat but about a meter off the ground. Reasonably cheap too from memory. Pain in the bum to store, but he uses them reasonably often.

by the sounds of things sounds like you need a car spit reasonably cheap or you can make your own |

Hi all, Try this company www.liftkingaustralia.com.auThey have a sissor lift that's portable with a rating of 2.7tons but cost around 3 grand it's perfect for the room problem but not the money Mark
