1101 is Eden Blue. It is an older colour, EH or something from that era. |

Early pre-release Monaros were painted in Eden Blue, Ermine White, Kingston Cream, Mako Blue, Mayan Gold and Picardy Red. The colours were changed to those that we are more familiar with by release time. Only Monaro colours changed, not GTS or GTS327. I came cross a Mako Blue 307 Monaro many years ago, it was 337-00249-H5, and was a fully loaded car built for a dealership floor. I'm pretty sure Ben has cars recorded in all the pre-release colours too. The Mako car was a June build from what I can tell, |

For a 69 model would this have been a special order, would have looked good on a GTS

Why do you think it is a 1969 build? It would bee special order if it is a '69, or even post 6/68. |

Mine is Dec 68 body no 40xxxM, The 1 on Shannons is body no 45603M. Wouldn't that make it very late Dec 68 or 69

Would be interesting to know if it is 69 as wasn't light teal discontinued in late 68
