If you don't know a great deal about electricals then id be leaving it to the experts, but not at that price.

i completely re wired my HQ tonner for about $400, that included relays, plugs, wire, terminals the lot!!

i have heaps of wire left over too, i'm re wiring my HQ monaro with the left overs (i just need more terminals and sockets)

i'd think there'd be around $500 or wire ect leaving $2500 in labour!!

unless the quote includes new headlights, lenses and stuff like that then it seems a little steep

but if your not good with electrics then i'd suggest not tackling it yourself, it can be a bit tricky and every connection needs to be perfect

before shooting down the 3K quote make sure you know exactly what your paying for, is it a drive in drive out price?? maybe you could do some of the work yourself?

I would do it myself as you can buy a kit called painless wiring from rocket, the kit costs around 200-400 dollars and comes with a wiring diagram, because if they quoted you 3k you got not much to lose.
