Identifying HK / HT / HG GTS Steering Wheel

Hi all,
How can one identify the differences between a GTS steering wheel that went into a HK/HT/or HG GTS Monaro.
Are there certain serial numbers that pertained to each model, or are there other identifying differences.
I feel that authenticity and originality could be lost by inserting a known HK GTS steering wheel into a known HG GTS
Kind regards
George

You won't need serial numbers. HK GTS is timber look & the HT/G GTS is black plastic.

If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0 |

Thanks for that guys and especially for the pictures.
A mate of mine alleges that he once owned a genuine HK GTS 327, and he showed me the souveniered steering wheel from it.
I think a carton should be in order for his mistake.
Thanks guys. George

It may well have had a black one, just it was put on early in its life. |
