Hi all,

Thought I would intro myself. I am new to this forum, my name is Chris and I am in Brisbane. I have only ever owned Fords. I have owned 4 XBs, 1 XA and 1 EF as drive cars but I have owned various other XBs and LTDs as well (mainly to wreck as they were rusted beyond use) I am best descrided as Ford to the Core. Even if the other mob made a better car, I don;t think I could bring myself to walk in to their dealerships to buy one. Just me.
I currently have a 2004 XR8 ute as my drive car. My first car was an XB and I have been hooked on the shape ever since. I have never let go of the hope of rebuilding another XB, and I am in the final stages of purchasing a Project XB. I have tonnes of XB stuff that I have collected over the years and need something I can have some fun in, without risking the ute. I am interested in cars, motorsport and scale modelling. I love going to the drags but have not owned something that is worthy of note......yet. All of my close group of mates are all into cars and racing so they have helped me get the bug again.

I look forward to reading many of your posts, and asking questions when I need to. Hopefully if everything goes well, I will post some pics of the project car as soon as they become available. Well that's all from me. Cheers, Chris

Thanks David, I will do. I take it 351 thunda relates to your beast? The Green on the ute is called Envi Green, I like it. I've recieved all sorts of comments, mainly good. Got told by one 'wally' that it was a girly colour!.... "whatever man"

cheers,
