Hey fellas, havent posted on here for a while! I'm currently driving a HSV enhanced VT SS sedan, but i've decided it's not practical and i need a ute. I was wondering, never having driven any other V8, what are some options with comparable power to the 195i? I'm only looking to spend about 5 - 6000, pretty much what i can sell mine for. cheers

With the weight difference in favour of the earlier cars, just about any VG-VS V8 will fit that budget & be just as responsive.
Cheers,

Mick

Even if the 165 or 179kW engines are not powerful enough for you it isn't all that expensive to turn them into similar engines to the HSV/HBD 180, 185 or 195kW engines. Exhaust, tune and cold air intake will get them going better.
