You can buy them in stores for the same price so first off support local business but you'll also have a better chance of warranty, iv seen some only last a year and others stick going find after 3 etc

I fitted one of those cheapies in my VS V8 ute. It never worked properly. Always leaked and the fittings were crap. I pulled it out after about 6 months and found a genuine one. No problems since.

.....60% cheaper than geniune for a good reason (they are cr@p). You'd be better off getting a good 2nd hander from a wrecker.
I supply coolant to several radiator shops and they just laugh about el cheapo radiators. Any ethical mechanic wouldn't sell one.
Just remember you are risking a hell of a lot more than the $320 bucks you save if you cook an engine.

If you could care less about your Statesman then buy one.
Cheers
Nick.

exactly my point, the quality might be hit and miss on the ebay stuff but apart from the ridiculous markup in a retail shop buying a semblance of warranty (at least until they tell you stray current killed it, or improper mounting or some other awesome excuse and give you nothing) then you may as well try a cheap s*** thing from the internet.

A bit of googling will tell you plenty about whether a particular sellers radiators are any good and short of investing the national debt in a custom radiator youll never know what youre getting (custom and spendy aint a guarantee of quality either)
