I have a airchief radio that will be going into my monaro, now what I need to find out is what year model would it be from as it does not have any push buttons to locate the stations. It does have the roller dials if that is what you call them,so would they be the very first that came out in HQ's mine is a 72 and if this one is to suit I will be wrapped. sounds like yours is a base model radio for HQ, so would have no push button knobs, I think it was the 11 transistor that had the push buttons as standard. post a pic that generally helps. |

Sounds like an 8 transistor. Is it like this? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/HQ-G...-LS-Monaro-/330796451038I think the Airchief 11 may have been available without pushbuttons too. Power it up and see if a blue 11 light comes up in the middle behind the 10.
