I have a WH Caprice that has developed a vibration at idle and low revs. It is more noticeable in drive and reverse. If you put your hand on the motor you can feel the vibration. It seems to reappear at around 2800rpm and then disappears.
I have changed the engine mounts. Non-genuine mounts were used. Also replaced the airflow meter and oxygen sensors.
Could this be caused by the harmonic balancer being faulty and how can I test to check this. Also wondering if it could be the non-genuine engine mounts adding to the problem.
If anyone has any suggestions I would be more than grateful to hear them as this driving me crazy.
