Hi fellas,

http://www.ebay.com.au/i...f1&_uhb=1#ht_1916wt_1091

Can the mirror fit on either side? That is, if I have a right-side stem, will a left-side mirror fit on OK?

The left-hand & right-hand mirror heads are interchangeable (the same). The stems are not.

You'd have to wonder what purpose this package serves.

Since every right-hand-drive Holden from 9/67 onwards had a right-hand mirror as standard, was it an accessory kit for LHD export cars or was it a kit to replace the entire RH assembly after a smash repair door replacement.

looks like we missed out on the r/h mirror fitting here in NZ as first Holden factory fitted with r/h mirror was HQ , I wondered why all our Aussy imports had a mirror fitted . I think first NZ made Holden with dual mirrors was UC Sunbird SLE ? Mark.
