Gday I am looking at refitting the original type vinyl on the floor of my HK kingswood ute and have some questions if someone could answer please:
1.Has anyone used or heard of The Dash Board Doctor in Vic as he is remaking these and from online pics seem to look ok.
2.If my trim colour was goya red, was the dash yeoman red and saying that was the floor and kick panels yeoman red as well.
3.Did the vinyl floor go back to the rear wall of cabin?

Hi,
I've been wondering what the quality of the rubber floor reproductions are like too.
I wouldn't mind doing a rubber floor in my HQ ute, I probably sound a bit cheap but $400 seems steep?
I've been looking at the ebay seller 'allcarcarpet' |

Thanks you blokes.
Looks like the floor is the same colour as the dash and not the door
trims on a kingswood.
Those two pieces look like they sit on the sides of the bench seat and tuck under the scuff plate,am i right?

Interesting. So I'm guessing a bucket seat panel van wouldnt have the two small pieces. If they had no console you would see bare trans tunnel. I may have to buy a rear sedan mat and cut it. |

coz vans were belmont only, (ie black vinyl floor regardless of trim colour)) im guessn bucket seat option woulda had kingswood optioned seat covers, therefore coloured floor mat & covered floor tunnel with all otherwise exposed floor tunnel) in vinyl(therefore sedan floor mat trimed behind seats

Should be the same as a bench seat car. This is why the seat separator was mandatory with buckets in most cases. I've always wondered what they did with teh 4spd bucket seat commercials between the seats. |

Ok thats good info lads.i might order the vinyl floor for a sedan
and trim it back.
One other thing was there a board behind the seat coloured like the door trims on a bench seat ute. as i have seen this on a bucket seat ute.

I'm more leaning towards a black vinyl floor mat in the panel van irrespective of the Kingswood trim a Belmont automatically got when buckets were optioned. Neither console was available so it will be a cut down sedan rear mat to fill the void. |

Found this in my files there is some type of board(similar to the parcel shelf)behind seats. Hope this helps

Top pic MPH,i have seen this in bucket seat ute before but it was painted and looked like the parcel shelf material.
Would this have been done on bench seat utes?
