Well never thought i would see the day when a car yard advertised a car, as having done 250k.
And it gets delivered, and has , wait for it>>>>>>433k on it?
Add said ,, looks and drives great! Thought it sounded a bit noisy, ? Found half the rear section of the exhaust in the ute!!!
Now we ring consumer affairs.
Xg ute, longreach. It has a fancy steering wheel on it, which you have to hit to get the car to start!!!!
None of this was mentioned in the add, nor the conversations?
Nsw reg, so i thought it would be reasonable re rwc?
Q, do these utes have airbags? And if so, do they work with sporty type steering wheel on them?
Q. Are replacement airbags expensive to get?

BCB the airbags were optional so some XG's had them and some did not but it would say SRS on the steering wheel if it does.
The tap on the wheel is a VERY common XH problem however I have been told that you tap the bottom of the dash above your left knee which is where the Smartlock unit lives so it's probably caused by dry solder joints in the Smartlock unit.
Why did you pay for it if it had twice the advertised KM?? |

I bought it of the net. Sight unseen,
Have done this before, and car was as described, that was a xf panelvan, this one was described as 250klms looks and drives great, pics looked good, so i paid for it, it being a caryard, they are under obligation to not mislead in adverts!
Having said this, got it driving today, and it does drive well, looks good, and apart from the exhaust, and huge klms, it is not a bad buy re price?
It has a 12 month warranty??
So we will see how the crumble cookies.
