Hi all.

Norm Darwin has just announced the release of Monaro Magic. Platinum Edition.

The fabulous Platinum HTGTS 350 Monaro of Ben and previously Tony is rightfully featured on the front cover of this book. Arguably, one of the nicest Monaros around.

Go to handpub.com.au for mor info about the book.

Cheers
Nick

Why wasnt it in the concours judging category at Warwick 2010? I just looked back at some photos I took of it on the day. A fine example indeed but not 100%.

I asked Ben why it was not and he said there were too many mistakes on it.

This is a light hearted post on my part. I would like to pay Ben and his car a compliment and let people know that Norm Darwin has published a new book.

After putting more thought into what I wrote, I have edited the sentence: "Arguably, one of the most accurate Monaro restorations" which motivated Simon and Warren's question and comments.

Text now reads: "Arguably, one of the nicest Monaros around".

Thank you.
Nick.

I know the effort that was put into this car and think it is a great car and would have competed well in concours at Warwick, however Ben was not happy with placing it in that class.

Concours is one of those classs that if the owner does not want to enter it in there they do not have to.

Referring to my own little judging list I made at Warwick on the day, if it had been in that class it should of won. I found less wrong with it than the the other three.
