VN-VS V8 and Gen3 Bell housing pattern.

Hi all my first post and this is it.
Is the fuel injected 5 litre the same bell housing bolt patterns as the gen3.
Any help greately appreciated.

Not really - it's a yes/no answer depending on what you are attempting to achieve.
The 2 holes on each side & the dowels are the same latyout & size, but across the top they don't match up.
There's also issues with bellhousing depth differences on the manuals.
And finally - the LS1/Gen3 bellhousing has the starter motor bulge on the opposite side.
