Can anybody tell me if a power steering pump of a comodor Black 202 that is for the rack and pinion steering also suit a steering box of a HJ or is it to small.

Hi Bob.

The black motor pump will work fine, the internal working parts of the pump with the reservoir are identical with the smaller looking pump.

The only diferences that matter are the different mounts (obviously) & all the threads on the newer

I overcame the metric thing by fitting WB presure hose.

Hi Warren.

I use the WB hose in a lot of conversions, but I didn't mention it here because I thought he had the smaller Black motor pump on the other side of the motor & required a longer hose.
