Hi all, did the floor shift WB KIngswood have a different console lid to the HJ - HZ range and was the console body the same as the HX - HZ ? I thought the lids of the WB KIngswood were the same as the WB Statesman DeVille so I removed the one from my DeVille and it does not come close to fitting. I was just going to reupholster my HZ console lid but I want to keep the interior of my WB looking like a WB KIngswood did or how I think I remember they did. Cheers MS

This is the style of lid that was fitted in 3 WB Kingswood factory 253 4speed utes that my mates owned back in the 90's . I know that this is a HJ console but their console in their WB's must of been the same as a HX-Z for the lid to fit. Does anybody have a lid that looks like this?? Cheers MS

WB commercial console lids have a plastic/rubbery finish, not like the HJ-HZ which are padded. The WB Deville has the same finish but as you say it is a different lid. The one in the photo is WB commercial. They came out in only 4 trim colours - tan, light blue, buckskin and dark oyster.
