please i heed help
went to change head gasket and chain slipped where do all the marks line up to im lost
got car running sounds 180 out but when i move dizzy 180 wont start at all please help

Hi Dave, I'm assuming youre working with some sort of technical manual. I'd suggest putting the motor on TDC on #1 cylinder and following the set up instructions in the manual. That said are you sure that it has skipped a tooth on the chain? There isn'

sorry for slow reply no manual at all .Bottom end after replacying timing cover is ok (unless dizzy and oil pump gear has nok sensor)and on tdc but dose the cam notch point to 90 degrees (passenger side) level with the top of the head ?????

Hi Dave, There are timing marks on the crank sprocket and the auxiliary shaft sprocket that need to be lined up prior to reinstalling the chain. It's not a big job but you really need to get a manual to guide you. Most public libraries have car manuals

THERES A MARK ON THE CRANK LINE IT UP WITH THE DOT ON THE TIMING COVER ,AND THERES A MARK ON THE CAM LINE IT UP WITH THE TOP OF THE CYLINDER HEAD .
