if someone could help me out, i am trying to find out what my trim insert is on my 73 HQ premier, i know that the 18 represents FLAX for the vinyl but i cant find info on what the U code is, i beleive it has original trim and it looks a bit like houndstooth/golfball insert, it is a fabric material not vinyl, any help would be much apprecciated

I think 18U is a cloth insert trim.
Golfball is usually the vinyl insert.
Houndstooth or chevron were the cloth inserts for a GTS not sure if used on a Prem.

thanks for the info, is "raydo" the name of the insert cloth or the company that makes it, also is it a common trim insert, cheers

this is raydo ...not sure of the shade however there were probably different ones This is from an LH Torana 64Y in gazelle / raydo combination This was for sale on ebay a few weeks ago....

Raydo was used as one of the insert materials in a HQSS,
10D is Black vinyl with Black and Flax Raydo cloth insert.
