Hey all, I have just purchased a HK GTS and was wondering if anyone could help me out in regards to a few numbers I have found on the tags. The tags match the owner manual booklet but there's a couple things confusing me.

Firstly the large tag states the numbers 80737A - 15831B
The chassis number is also stamped HKXXXXXBB

Does this mean the car was built in Adelaide and assembled in Brisbane? The 'A' on the big tag confuses me. It was a QLD car.

The car also has a vinyl roof. Should this be stated on the big tag after the word 'top' as an option?

Last question, my brake booster is stamped 25GB, any info on those numbers would be greatly appreciated also :)

Good to be a Monaro owner again btw. She's currently in a panel chop having any cancer repaired.

On Acacia Ridge cars the A or M after the Model No. indicates manual or auto.

The double B on the firewall no. is Brisbane body Brisbane assembled

Vinyl roof is sometimes not mentioned in TOP on the body plate, there is no hard rule. Melbourne & Brisbane usually have it, but there are exceptions.

25GB on the booster in more likely 25G8 which is date code for 25th July (G=7) 1968.

Hi Damo.

What you have there is an Adelaide built HK Premier sedan in Hacienda Blue Metallic with Buckskin Beige interior trim.

I can't tell engine or transmission from those numbers.
