I was bidding on one that was on Ebay but the seller pulled it from the listing and said he decided to keep it for his own car,as for what they are worth I suppose it comes down to what someone want's to pay for it,by the way does it have all the wiring with it or just a bare bar?

I knew they weren't original GMH, just wondered who made them, as they are (or rather were) quite common. |

The six light bumper is not factory GMH as far as I know. Was a few speed shops you used to be able to buy them at, but they were after market. |

Do you have a link to this 'proof' that they are genuine GMH parts?

Pretty close there HK1837. Case of don't believe the poster here. I googled and what it said on another forum was these bars were considered for the export market, but never made it into production. Another poster said it was a common mod and he knew of one shop with a die for pressing these in. Nowhere I read said Holden did a short run. holdon, I see you have tried to sell it on EBay (you are from Cobargo) and you couldn't sell it for the 99c start price.

Ok mr holdon get us a GMH/Holden part number then? O that's right it don't exist. As for this comment. people dont now everything as holden put them on some ls monaro,s and premiers export and some dealers ask for them, this is there for all to read just google holden hq 6 light rear bumper cheers That is a load of crap put out by people that are trying to sell the bars And this.when you get when you Google what it said on another forum was these bars were considered for the export market, but never made it into production. Another poster said it was a common mod and he knew of one shop with a die for pressing these in. is form more that are tring to sell them. Look at the bars from the rear, a few you will find stamped, but most you can quite clearly, see it is a piece from another bar cut and welded in.I have found some that the spacing between the second and third (inner) light is wrong. Just looked at the photo's of the one from Cobargo NSW you can clearly see it is welded in. Edited by user Monday, 29 April 2013 11:48:21 PM(UTC)

Google gave me "About 146,000 results (0.69 seconds)" Which one should I look at to tell me it is a genuine Holden part?
Maybe you could cut and paste the link for me, as I dont really have time to look at all 146,000 looking for a needle in a haystack that I know does not exist.

More lies! I see you have taken it off Ebay completely. Anyway, here you talk of having the wiring and on the Ebay listing you do the same. Why lie? Are you embrassed that you bragged it was a genuine Holden product and told people to "google" it, and when they did it showed you up as a liar? We saw your add, you didn't even get a bite for 99c. I bet this was the bar bowtie383 was bidding on and you pulled it when you realised it wasn't going to sell for what you wanted. You came here with this "how much is it worth" bull, just to see if you could get any interest in it and now you have found out it isn't even worth .99c. You basically called knowledgeable people here liars when they told you Holden didn't produce them. I suppose now you have been found out you will slink to another car forum trying to gather interest. I'd stay away from it Bowtie383, it's clear this bloke isn't honest.
