G'day guys I've got a v6 VR Commodore with 260,000kms on the clock. I was looking at getting a set of extractors as I already have a decent exhaust system from the manifold back. My first question is, will the bolts on the existing manifold simply unbolt with a bit of elbow grease? Or will I have to get these professionally removed. Secondly, when buying second hand extractors (could do with saving a few hundred) is there anything to look for? Or do they deteriorate little? Wreckers advertise extractors pretty cheap so I'm looking at going there. Third, are the extractors for the VR exchangable with the VN/VP extractors or is there a different undercarriage arrangement? Finally, how much are the gaskets I'm looking at buying? Many thanks in advance guys! Edited by user Friday, 23 June 2006 9:26:59 AM(UTC)
