Interested to know if you guys building performance engines are building engines with valve seat inserts or is the trend just to use lead replacement additives and leave the heads alone
This question only applies to those of us using cast iron heads of coarse

both of my clevos run hardend valve seats, figured why not i was rebuilding them anyway

I put hardened valve seats in my 1957 ford thames trader when rebuilding.
