Thanks mate, I did drive wagon for 6 months basically everyday but have put on club rego now. Still gets out once a week at least. Yes ute was for sale this time last year but the mrs was up me about selling it so I had a high price on trying to keep her happy. The plan is to put back on market soon with a more realistic price as I need the money to get stuck into HZ Prem sedan Im building. I don't want to but I just never use it now ive got a 2 year old boy it makes more sence to have a sedan.

G'day yarrum308

Glad to hear the HQ still gets a work out.
Good choice with a growing family to do the sedan
I am just about to start on a HZ Kingswwod ute and hope it can look as good as your HX.
Also restricted by misses on how much I can spend on it.
I am going for a complete standard factory look.

Cheers
Paul

Hi Paul,
Yeah stock is the go, as much as I love modified cars im leaning towards original these days. Plan with the sedan is to be stock, the reason I bought it is the trim is really good so I can leave it as is, it has factory air and steer and its a 253.It will get a full repaint as soon as ive finished cutting all the rust out. Ive also bought some original HZ Prem wheel trims but I will lower it of course. Sad part is I know in 10 years time I will be building a ute again cause I will miss it, had it for 15 years now.

Yes you will be sad to see the ute go, but when you can go for a drive in the sedan with your family(kid at 4 yrs old??)

and then he ends up with it, all that will make up for it or sell the FJ,HX ute is very tidy. Same reason I am going standard is it has all the good bits in it from factory like 2 seater 4 speed 253 3.08 diff U17sports dash aircon and full sage green interior and outback package optioned but like you will definitely go lower in height.

Cheers
Paul
