G'day fellas, can anyone give me some tips on how to remove the sealer from the floor of my HK Monaro, it's dried out in places and is quite rusty underneath but is still tacky in other places. I need to get it all off to see the extent of the rust. Cheers, Glenn.

pick at it, gouge it with a screw driver, grind, sand, blast, but don't use chemical strippers as they can leech into the metal and screw up whatever you apply later.
have a look here http://gallery.oldholden...Kingswood-Sedan/restore/

Hi Glenn. Not a pleasant job to do.I have just done the floor of an FJ and found the quickest way was a wire brush attatched to a 4" angle grinder.Wear a mask and goggles and be prepared to get dirty. It cleans back to the steel great.
